Earlier this week, a single-seater 'Kiran' aircraft  of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed.

Trainee pilot Raj Kumar Herojit took off from Hakimpet airstrip at 4.40 pm and had to eject from his aircraft between 4.50 pm and 5.10 pm due to mechanical failure.


Trainee pilot Raj Kumar Herojit's parachute got entangled in power lines. He suffered injuries on his back.
