Looks like a cross between a Rooivalk and an Ka-50!
ReplyDeleteWhen is china going to offer this helicopter to Izlamabad????
ReplyDeleteDavid, To me it looks much more like Eurocopter Tiger EC 665 attack helicopter.
ReplyDeleteka-50 is a real heavyweight
It has just entered into operational service with the Chinese PLA, so i am not sure sure how much time it will take China to pitch it for Pakistani requirement for a gunship helicopters to replace and supplement AH-1a. Turkey is already actively marketing its T-129 to the Pakistan army
Given the track record of recent deals China has been able to grab from Pakistan, i would say that it may eventually find its way into Pakistani army aviation crops
ReplyDeleteChina is also developing a cheaper version http://globalmilitaryreview.blogspot.com/2011/07/new-chinese-z-19-light-gunship.html
