IAF Receives C-17 Globemaster III Heavy-Lift Transport Aircraft

India has taken the possession of the first C-17 Globemaster III Heavy Lift Transport Aircraft from the Boeing. India had selected the boeing C-17 transport aircrafts in in 2009 and requested the United States for the purchase of 10 C-17s through Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
