Egyptian Romeo Type 033 Submarines

Rare images of the Egyptian Romeo Type 033 Diesel-Electric Submarines which were purchased from China. The Egyptian Navy operates four upgraded Romeo Type 033 submarines which were later refitted with the submarine launched UGM-84 Sub-Harpoon Anti-Ship Missile.

These Chinese produced Romeo Type 033 submarines have six 533mm torpedo tubes in bow and another two in stern to launch torpedoes and anti-ship missiles.
