Iran has test fired the Sayyad 2 medium range and high-altitude surface to air missile as part of its Talaash Medium Range Air Defence System .
Sayyad 2 surface to air missile seems Iranian built version of the US supplied RIM-66 Standard MR (Medium Range) air defense missile. Sayyad 2 surface to air missile is capable of destroying helicopters, drones and fighter jets.
