    May 10th 2012 was the Typhoons last day at RAF Northolt, their temporary home whilst training for Operation Olympic Guardian. They return(ed) in July for the olympics.

    I was lucky enough to watch the four stationed jets perfom a controlled formation taxi onto Runway 25. Echo 21 screamed into the sky first followed in rapid succession by Echo 22, Echo 23 and Echo 24. I've never witnessed such a thing at close range. It was stunning.
