    The big deal is that Chinese used to go to war with fireworks in wooden junks adorned with the head of a dragon, that is why the colonials powers could humiliate them. Now they send men to space and can match most advanced nations technology; in no time they will even outdo them. So now the can kick the ass of anybody; they won't be humiliated anymore. The same goes for many other nations, like Iran for example. So watcht out, big boy, gunboat policy is over.
