Six F-16 fighter jets have been converted by the Boeing into QF-16 target drone configuration for the United States Air Force (USAF) and it performed its first unmanned test flight from Tyndall Air Force Base under the guidance of two test pilots of the United States Air Force. The QF-16 target drone reached an altitude of 12,200m and achieved top speeds of Mach 1.47.
