Turkish Navy's F-497 TCG-Gelibolu, a Gabya Class Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) Guided Missile Frigate fitted with 8-cell Mk-41 VLS for 32 RIM-162 Evolved SeaSparrow Missile (ESSM) to counter supersonic maneuvering anti-ship missiles. F-497 TCG-Gelibolu frigate is also equipped with SMART-S Mk2 3D air search radar and GENESIS (Gemi Entegre Savaş İdare Sistemi) combat management system.
