Eurofighter Typhoon and Rafale fighter jets has been shortlisted by the India for the $10.4 billion contract to supply 126 medium multi-role fighter aircraft (MMRCA) to Indian air force. 

Contenders included US F/A-18 IN Block II 'Super Hornet', F-16 IN Block 70 'Falcon', Swedish Gripen and Russian MiG-35.  $10.4 billion project to supply 126 medium multi-role fighter aircraft (MMRCA).

    (500)5th gen aircrafts for indian airforce & 500 aircrafts from MMRCA will enable India to counter CHINA & PAKISTAN.
    Indian navy with 200 odd aircrafts will be good for maritime
