The Sukhoi Su-34 Fullback is a new generation tactical fighter bomber aircraft designed to replace the swing-wing Su-24 in service with the Russian Air Force.
The Russian Air Force will employ the Su-34 for long range battlefield interdiction, close air support and deep strike roles.
The Sukhoi Su-34 Fullback's Leninets B-004 multimode phased array radar has a range of 200 to 250 kilometers against surface targets while it also offers ground mapping capability from a distance of 150 kilometers.
