Taiwan’s Hsiung Feng III (HF-3) supersonic anti-ship missile is developed by the Chungshan Institute of Science and Technology (CSIST). HF-III uses ramjet to achieve a speed of over Mach 2 at low altitudes.
HF-3 supersonic anti-ship missile uses an X-band active radar seeker which was developed from seeker used in the HF-2 anti-ship missile series. HF-3 missile is reported to have a maximum range of 70nm to 85nm (approx. 130km to 157km)
