Italian Air Forces' KC-767A Tanker Transport Aircraft

Italian Air Force accepted delivery of the two KC-767A Tanker Transport Aircraft on Dec. 29, 2010 and March 10, 2011. Italian Air Force's KC-767 have both boom refueling and hose and drogue refueling systems. KC-767A Tanker Transport Aircraft has capacity to carry 192,826lb of fuel.

Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare) has purchased 4 Boeing KC-767 military aerial refueling and strategic transport aircraft developed from the Boeing 767-200ER. Boeing KC-767A will replace New Italian B-707T/T tankers.

Last two Boeing KC-767  tankers will be delivered before the end of 2011. Italian Air Force KC-767A is a "convertible combi," which means that Italian KC-767A can carry all passengers, all cargo, or a combination of passengers and cargo.  Italian KC-767A will be able to carry 19 standard military 463-L pallets or 200 passengers or it can carry 10 cargo pallets and 100 passengers.
