A Mil Mi-24 Hind gunship helicopter of the Polish Land Forces has crashed while 4 Polish soldiers were on board at the Warrior base in Afghanistan.
Crash occurred when gunship helicopter was returning from a an operation against the Taliban.
Polish Land Forces are using their Polish Land Forces to assist the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in its operations against Taliban militants.
One of the Polish Mi-24 caught fire during its takeoff attempt earlier this year which has left only 5 operation Polish gunship helicopters in Afghanistan.
Mil Mi-24 Hind also has room to transport up to 8 troops. Soviet Air Force also used their Mil Mi-24 Hind Gunship Helicopters extensively against Mujahideen fighters in Afghanistan.
