Japanese government has declared that  has picked US F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter  jet has won the competition for the purchase of  42 advance fighter jets for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force will allow Japan.

The Japanese Defense Minister Yasuo Ichikawa said, "The security environment surrounding future fighter jets is transforming. The F-35 has capabilities that can firmly respond to the changes."
