The TIHA, Turkish Indigenous MALE (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Anka has successfully completed its 5th test flight last month. The TIHA UAV is being developed by the Turkish Aerospace Industries, Inc. (TAI).
The Anka UAV flew at an altitude of 10.000ft to perform a series of test to gather data regarding the UAV performances. It is powered by a 155-horsepower diesel engine and has a wingspan of 17.3 meters with and endurance of 24 hours.
