Israel is deploying Iron Dome anti-missile system battery to assess its performance. Israel is looking to test the performance of the Iron Dome anti-missile system's radar and interceptors.

Israel has also deployed 2 Iron Dome anti-missile batteries in the south on the Gaza border. Israel is ready to get its third Iron Dome anti-missile battery in next few months while 4th battery is planned to be inducted within two years.
